On Sep 27, 2021, we received the good news from Elsevier that ExRNA has been accepted for inclusion in Scopus.

ExRNA (ISSN 2398-0060) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that provides a platform for innovative research in the field of extracellular RNA. The journal covers a wide variety of RNAs in the extracellular environment, including miRNAs, siRNAs, piRNAs, lncRNAs and circRNAs.

This journal aims to investigate the biological functions of extracellular RNAs, discover the fundamental principles about the mechanisms of extracellular RNA generation, uptake and transport and explore the potential for using extracellular RNAs in the clinic as therapeutic molecules or disease biomarkers.

We can’t achieve this without the continuous support and contributions of ExRNA’s editorial board members, guest editors, authors, reviewers and readers. We here would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the contributors. We will keep striving to publish high-quality articles and make ExRNA to the forefront.
